PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012

Dear Parents, Children & Well-Wishers,

A “Happy (Hours)” Welcome to every one of you for the new Academic year 2011-2012.

(Y)our school for the little ones is surging ahead steadily, making a firm and determined progress shaping the children with spectacular achievements.

In view of the extensive and repeated demands from the parents of the  Nursery School children, we have introduced an EXTENDED SESSION in the Nursry section, which is held from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM .  This has been well received and a large number of parents have opted for this EXTENDED SESSION reiterating their confidence in the school to take good care of their children.

During the academic year that ended, our school children who appeared for the SECOND YEAR in the SSLC Examination during April, 2011, came out in flying colours.  We are happy to share the joy that 60% of the students secured DISTINCTION SCORING ABOVE 85% AND THE REMAINING 40% secured FIRST CLASS MARKS. Miss. Yeshawini has scored 92% Overall and Miss Sushmitha has scored 91.4% scoring 98% in Mathematics. Our parents, students and well wishes are enthused by this laudable achievement.  We are encouraged to keep up this tempo and achieve greater heights in the years to follow.

During the year 2009-2010, you are aware that we had introduced coaching classes for our school children to appear in the CYBER, SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS OLYMPIADS.  A few of our children have done extremely well during this Academic year and have secured STATE LEVEL AND NATIONAL LEVEL RANKS bringing proud moments to all of us. Kudos to these achievers.

An additional Teaching Aid installed in the school is the INTERACTIVE BOARD which is loaded with all the topics in the CBSE/ICSE/STATE BOARD syllabus.  The teachers can extract the relevant information from these and show the children with visual effect the basics that are taught.

In the current Academic year we have already made arrangements with “SMRITHAK” to start Foundation Courses for CET/IIT/AIEEE AND COMED-K.  The children get exposed to rigorous practice and cracking the above examinations become much easier when they are scheduled  to take up these examinations.

The construction work of the NEW SCHOOL BUILDING in our Cambridge Road premises is in full progress and  is expected to be complete before the beginning of the next Calendar year -- 2012  providing more convenience  and pride to the children.  We sincerely apologize any inconvenience caused though we have taken adequate precautions to ensure that all the regular activities for the children are carried on  without causing any impediment.  

I once again extend my warm appreciation and greetings to the new entrants, children, parents, teachers and other well wishers and request all to continue to make ‘Happy Hours’ education a memorable one.
