Literary Competitions 2011

            The yearly literary competitions saw many children participating with great enthusiasm. The results have been announced and are displayed on the website. Congrats to the winners and kudos to all participants.

NEW ADMISSIONS – 2011-2012

Application forms for the year 2011-2012 for all classes ( Playgroup, Junior I (LKG), Junior II (UKG) and PREPARATORY classes AND for Stds I to VIII will be issued on 7-2-2011, 8-2-2011 and 9-2-2011 from 9 AM to 2-45 PM.

A memorable Class picnic

Class X and Class IX students went for a Picnic to Yercaud. They left on the night of 16-12-2010 and returned in the early hours of 19-12-2010. The students enjoyed the picnic thoroughly and termed it an unforgettable experience in their life. They went for sight seeing, trekking to a "Falls", Trekking through the forest areas, enjoyed Campfire.

Quiz and Literary Competitions

The Quiz Finals 2010 was conducted on 15-11-2010.

Four teams were selected after a preliminary General Knowledge Test conducted for the aspiring children. Confidence, Character, Courage and Courtesy.

Each team was questioned on Various subjects like Space Science, Geography, Computers, World History, Sports and Games, Inventions, Biology, Physics etc. In the second round each participant was asked to answer two questions on any of the topics. In the third round the teams had to identify a World Famous Monument or Building and five questions about the same were to be answered. The fourth round consisted of Puzzles - four different kinds and the groups had to solv e them. The fifthround was a rapid fire round. Any chosen member of the team has to answer 10 rapidly fired quesions in one minute.

The winner was COURAGE Team. All the children enthusiastically participated in the quiz and encouraged their teams.

Christmas Celebrations

            To mark the festive season, the last working day was celebrated by the children with great fun and fare. They had a lovely time with Santa Claus and class photographs with the teacher and the principal have been taken, and interested parents can contact the class teacher for copies of the same.

            December 2005 marks the launch of the Charans Happy Hours Website. This emphasizes the management's commitment to provide the best education and facilities for the students of the school and enable strong contribution by parents, teachers and well-wishers.
